Weldon Homecare Services offer a Professional, caring, relaiable service that you can count on. Knowing that your loved one(s) will be care for in a most caring manner. Would highly recommend.
All the staff at Weldon have given Dad outstanding care from day one. It seems as though nothing has been too much trouble for any of the team in meeting his needs, as they have gone the extra mile.
I could not recommend this company highly enough. Professional help provided from sympathetic carers who supported me and allowed me to keep my husband at home in his final weeks. Special thanks to Michelle.
Weldon picked up dad’s care only for a short while until officialdom took over and forced our hand. During that time they where nothing short of fantastic great staff all round, very helpful management.
Great company and the staff are great aswell. The owners are great too, nice and friendly.
Weldon have cared for my granny for some time now and always go the extra mile to make sure she’s well looked after. Anything that needs addressing is dealt with promptly and professionally. Would recommend.
Weldon were really supportive to my step dad. Although he acknowledged he needed a carer he wasn’t ready to actually accept one in his house.
Until Weldon took over his carers had literally gone in and said hello and he’d send them back out on their way. However, Weldon broke down these barriers and he built up a good rapport with his care team and had them supporting him in his home. Sadly he’s now passed away but I know Weldon and his carer, Jim, gave him an interest in conversation and joy in his last months. For that I will always be thankful.
All the staff at Weldon have given Dad outstanding care from day one. It seems as though nothing has been too much trouble for any of the team in meeting his needs, as they have gone the extra mile. Michelle is a wonderfully upbeat and friendly person who manages everything in a positive and calm manner. Communication with her and her team has been very easy and efficient. Weldon has been very flexible and accommodating with Dad’s changing needs. Even when challenging circumstances have arisen, all Dad’s carers have managed everything very professionally, showing super patience, understanding and, above all, great kindness. Given that family members live far away, it has been extremely reassuring for us to know that the Weldon team is on hand. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

My husband who has Alzheimers was cared for by Weldon Homecare. The carers were kind, understanding and efficient. Michelle and Scott were there if I needed any help or advice. Unfortunately my husband has now had to go into a home, but I would highly recommend Weldon Homecare
Weldon Homecare look after my 98 year old Mother extreme well. All her needs are catered for and my Mum is friends with all her carers. She usually has the same few carers, so they know her needs, almost without asking. The management staff are always at the end of the phone, if I have need to discuss things with them. I would definitely recommend Weldon Homecare to take care of your loved one.

My name is Ed, and I am 42 years old. I live in Newark, and I have been a direct payment recipient since 2004. I use my direct payment to employ 2 Personal Care Assistants, Jo and Charlene and the team from Weldon Home Care Services to support me in my day-to-day life.
My care and support teams play a vital role in my life because without them, I would not be able to do what I do. Having a great support network is vital and it’s not just about professional care and support staff, I’ve got wonderful volunteering partners, friends and family whose support is unwavering.
I would like to take this opportunity to mention that I have two very special men, Phil and Karl who support me one billion percent, they are two fabulous gentlemen who I love, respect, cherish and value in equal measure. Collectively, the three of us are known as the 3 Rocks of Newark.
I would also like you to know that the three of us are in a committed three-way relationship, also known as a throuple, we are all very happy together and loving life.I have Cerebral Palsy and am a full-time electric wheelchair user. My parents fought for me to attend mainstream school, and I’m so glad they did, as it’s given me the life and skills that I have today. I went to Coventry University and graduated in 2007 with a 2:2 in Communication, Culture and Media, which I’m very proud of, I came out as gay at the age of 13 and have not looked back since. My parents Mike and Bridget always wanted the best for me, and I am proud to say that I have achieved everything I have set out to achieve so far. My mum and dad are the best parents in the world.
My work with Nottinghamshire County Council began in 2009 when I became a member of the Disability Independent Advisory Group alongside my late friend and colleague Veronica. I started off being a member of the group but told Veronica that I would like to chair it, and she enabled me to do just that. When Co-Production was put on the table by Melanie Williams, the former Executive Director Adult Social Care, Nottinghamshire County Council, I knew that I had to be involved, I’ve been involved since day one and I’m still involved to this day, I’m passionate about co-production. I am extremely proud to be a member of Our Voice Strategic Co-Production Group working in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council Adult Social Care and doing other things besides. All my work is related to co-production in some way or another.
I love encouraging staff and my volunteering partners to work in a Co- Productive way. I’m passionate about networking and planting the seed of co-production. I also offer health and well-being support to all of the staff and partners I work with and alongside in all of my roles, in whatever capacity. I use my experience to help others and to make social care better for all those who use it now and in the future. I do this role to help others who are less fortunate than myself and who don’t have a voice.
